Swamiji lived with Muktananda from 1969 until his death in 1982, serving him in various ways, while performing his spiritual practices (sadhana). He also traveled with Muktananda to numerous pilgrimage centers in India, and when Muktananda left India on his last two world tours he asked Swamiji to accompany him. As Swamiji was also an excellent astrologer, having studied both the Western and Vedic systems of the science, he became the ashram's official astrologer. Muktananda not only sent people to him for consultation, but also had him teach astrology in the ashram.
After Muktananda's death in 1982, Swamiji went to live in Muktananda's South Fallsburg, New York ashram, where he
remained mostly in solitude and silence for the next three and a half years practicing intense sadhana.
In 1986 Swamiji decided to leave the ashram to travel and share his experiences with others. Swamiji now
lives in California and continues to teach and inspire others on the spiritual path.
